Any Other Business?:
Dear All,
Perhaps due to her communist past my wife plays little or no role in the planning and execution of our foreign excursions, leaving most if not all of the decisions making to myself the official family travel authority. This trip was slightly different and I was delighted when she successfully oversaw several return trips between our room on the 20th floor and the hotel lobby. The gesture was appreciated.
Saturday afternoon my client requested a shopping excursion and I organized a visit to Festival Walk a shopping destination on the outskirts of Kowloon. Once delivered unaccompanied free range access was agreed upon and we eventually met up once again 3.5 hours later.
Frustrated and bored at the conclusion you can imagine my utter frustration, surprise and disappointment when she declined my request to stop off and take a quick peek at “Mong Kok”.
“Can’t we do that back home” she cheekily replied…
Cheers,
Mw
